Toyota released some official FT-86 marketing material to assist in the promotion of its debut at the Geneva International Motor Show on March 4th - 14th.
Along with the debut of the revamped RAV4, the FT-86 is set to take center stage. The debut of the FT-86 in Europe, along with the official marketing piece from Toyota makes one wonder, what redesign?! Why would Toyota spend so much money in the marketing and distribution of a ED2 design, only to have it bested by an CALTY production design? The red monkey isn't traveling overseas to promote interest of a potential concept, I promise you this. What you see below is as ready for production as a car can get, you don't mess with perfection. The only remaining question, and serious concern. When will the FT-86 make its debut stateside? One can hope for the New York International Auto Show coming April 2nd - 11th. Toyota has two exhibits at the show, important to note is the impressive space designated for Toyota on level 3.

Revisit NY Auto Show? Hmmmm
They won't show the engine bay, but I can manage a few snaps and exit the facility before security nabs me.

"Your mission Jim, should you choose to accept it"..."This message will self destruct in 5 seconds, 4, 3..." Better upload those photos live to the net as you take them, CHAOS may be closer than you think!

You see, its all in the execution. I need a second party to hand off the camera phone and make my exit
Now if only my iPhone took pictures faster! Er wait, there's an app for that.

Yes, execution is the key, the second person needs to carry an identical camera to hand over when they get nabbed, but prior to that, your original camera needs to get secretly passed on to a third person who is dressed as a security guard who goes and gets 'back-up' from outside, once the lights start flashing and the sirens go off...and the 3 inch steel doors descend into lockdown!
