Media Toyota FT-86 Now in 3D! Graphic artists, go wild!

Someone from TurboSquid has recreated the Toyota FT-86 Concept for your 3D modeling pleasure. Im half tempted to buy it to get back into 3D Studio Max. I used to use it back when I had a 100 mhz computer, overlocked lol.

Meshsmooth is applied so you can set the object resolution as you like.
Just use the Named Selection Set meshsmooth to select the SubD objects.

All parts (interior, exterior, sets, board, wheels, doors, etc)
are separately objects, so you can render the car also without the interior.

The files are created in 3DS Max 2011, preview images are rendered with V-Ray

It does look a bit boxy, but its better than anything I could do! Now someone needs to animate it doing cool stuff.

I used to use 3d Studio Max as well and have contemplated doing a new 240 in 3D. I just have way to much going on right now to barely think about it.

It looks like the nose was modeled after my dog which chases parked cars.

Seriously, this is probably the Scion bodywork

Might sound weird but I like this modeling job. I am seriously warming to the Scion idea...or the FT-86 from Toyota. I would go either way. Now I'm even changing my mind about the $25,000 thing. I will pay $25,000 for the 4-dr. FT-86 from either Toyota or Scion! But I want the 6-speed transmission and a kickazz stereo with 10" subwoofer in the trunk.

I'm simply hooked on this car's bodystyle!
