Smile I just ordered my Toyota FT-86 Concept! WOO

Baahha. Ok so its just a 1/43 scale model Toyota FT-86 concept from the Tokyo Motor Show.

I felt it would be nice to have a potential collectors items years down the road, of a car in which I plan to be very involved in.

FT-86 Concept(Red Metallic) Tokyo Motor Show 2009:Kid Box/HW JAPAN

They have the FT-86 G's (Gazoo Racing) concept available too. FT-86 G Sports Concept 2010 Tokyo Auto Saron (Pre-order)

I thought this was an April fool's joke then I remembered it was June. I will do the same when Suby final releases a concept.

West, very impressive! The inside cockpit detail is amazing. How long did it take to ship?

I like it, finally something FT-86 to touch and hold, even only if 1-43. Better find some money to buy one of these.

Quoting a little Oasis song lyric here, that's all. It's a very loose reference to the pain I am suffering waiting to buy an FT-86 / FR-S. So to ease that a little, I have lashed out and bought the 1/43 scale model instead...

Sweeeet. Glad you broke down like I did and ordered one! Im tempted to unscrew mine from the mount and use it like a toy. But I know I should just hold on to it as a collectors... Must resist!

West - just don't make any vroom vroom sounds as you push it along the carpet - the men in white jackets will come and take you away....

Woo hoo, mine arrived yesterday, 20 July. I ordered it on the 14th, and the package is post-marked the 15th, so just 5 calendar days, across a weekend no less, and its here. It looks fabulous. I am the second known person in the world, after West, to own an FT-86!!!!!!!! I rock!!!! :-)

If 1:18 comes out I want FT86, G's and 216a. And put them next to my collections of Supras, RX7FD3Ss and R34s.

I am debating whether I want to spend the $83USD on the model. Looking at these pictures I am now strongly considering it!

It'll help ease the pain of waiting. What a beautiful car!

Now, who is going to be the first to buy the FT-86 Concept II model, if/when that gets released?
