It's not that hard if you aren't a complete moron. There's only three things you need to know:
1. Turkey must be completely thawed. It cannot be frozen AT ALL. Should be obvious.
2. Put turkey in fryer and fill with water. Mark where the water level comes up to. Drain and dry turkey. THAT'S how much oil you put in. NO MORE. Heat oil to 350.
3. Put turkey in the rack thing that comes with the fryer, and submerge turkey slowly.
Do all that correct and you WILL NOT blow anything up or set the world on fire.
