I agree, it should just be something new, but I still would prefer "new" under Toyota, not Scion.

I don't think of a certain engine when I think of Celica. I don't think of a NA, or turbo. It's not like say a GTR that always had an inline 6. And obviously chassis wise it's never been specific either. It's been RWD, FWD, and AWD. Trueno means almost nothing to people in America other then enthusiasts. And this car won't have that narrow of a demographic.
I'd be happy with them just calling it a Toyota FT even though that doesn't mean anything to anyone.
In Japan though I can see it being called a Trueno. Which would be fine too. It would give us guys in the US a chance to rebadge the car right away.
