Dsycks you really know your stuff and I must agree. The powerplant on these cars needs to be able to handle a lot in stock form without having to get down into the bottom end of the block.
If it ships NA, it doesn't need some high ass compression ratio (11:1) that will
make the car into a time bomb once boost is added.
I would hope that when building this Toyota will think about how beastly the
2J engines were and build this motor accordingly and make sure Subaru does the same on their end of it
