So recent news is spreading about a turbo EJ25 STi edition of the 086a seen below. I find that doubtful considering the use of an EJ motor, unless Subaru is in fact going to use its own motor in the Subaru model 086a. So far from what I gather the "D-4S" is simply a Toyota technology created in 2003 which uses Direct Injection. I guess at this point we really can only speculate on what motor will be used. I sure hope they both have Turbo model STi's and TRD's. Nothing like the added benefits down the road of being able to do motor swaps from local or imported motors.
