Well have to consider...
Current STI AWD approx. 3375lbs (new chassis 2 dr, maybe 3000lbs?) maybe 270-290+HP 2.0L turbo. Really depends on what they put in for turbo...but after market will be ready.
FT-86 RWD maybe 2800lbs? maybe 2.0L N/A 220-240HP 2.0L Turbo ~270-290HP
This is all speculation but considering the weight...it will be something to see both stock turbos go at it. FT may take it but can't see Subie owners staying with stock turbo if that happens. Again, FT guys will do the same.
*** NO one has even mentioned the pistons issue with Subaru boxer engines. I HOPE TOYOTA has MENTIONED to SUBARU to USE other pistons (preferably forged).....else they will play the repair game too and this will really HURT Toyota
